You did it! Now let’s hear about it.
The speeches are over, the crowds have gone home, your magazine is out there or youth are relaxing in your stress-less room. Whatever your project was, take a moment to pat yourself on the back and celebrate!
Now that your project is complete, it’s time to let everyone know how amazing it was! Start your bragging by letting us know how it went!
How to write your creative final report
With your mentor’s help you will need to write a final report about your project. To learn what’s involved , follow our final report guide!
You can refer to the guide while you fill in your final report package. Download the final report package here:
We’ve mentioned before how we love to see your creative side. If you have a video, before and after pictures, testimonials from participants, a CD of mental health tunes, etc… anything that helps to describe how your project went down, we want to see it! Please include these along with your final report once your project is complete.
Once you tell us about it, we want to share it. Snapshots of Dare to Dream projects will be showcased on the Dare to Dream Website. So send us any results of your hard work and maybe yours will be featured next!
Copyright reminder
As much as we would love to showcase anything you produce we have to be aware of the copyright laws – especially when it comes to music and images. This means that you cannot just use a Black Eyed Peas song or take a bunch of pictures off Google to enhance your video, slideshow or poster. You must ensure that the music and images you use are actually free for you to use. (Hint: They usually aren’t)
Evaluation!
In order to continue supporting awesome programs like Dare to Dream, we must be able to show that your projects work to engage youth, promote mental health and reduce stigma.
To do this, we need your help. Your application included a plan for evaluating the success of your project. We want to know that your project worked! We also want to know what didn’t work. Please include any information and feedback you collected with your final report so that we can get a sense of how your project made an impact and what people learned.
