This section is a “one-stop-shop” for everything you need to apply for a group Dare to Dream award – from your application forms to templates for final reports once your project is completed.

To complete your group application and submit it to the Centre, just follow the 10 easy steps listed below.

Dare to Dream applications must be submitted to the Centre before 4:00pm on March 31st 2010.

Who counts as a group?
Groups of three or more youth who apply together for an award and who meet the Dare to Dream Criteria and Conditions are eligible for up to $5000 to help bring their mental health awareness projects to life.

Groups may request an honorarium of up to $200 from that $5000 as a "thank you" for all their hard work and commitment, or, if they prefer, they may use the full amount of $5000 to fund their project. (Applicants are asked to indicate whether or not they would like an honorarium in the Project Budget section of the Dare to Dream Application Form.) You will receive your honorarium after we receive your final report.

In schools, groups might include a classroom full of students, a student club or even a group of friends working together on a Dare to Dream project. In the community, groups may come from local youth-serving organizations (such as clubs, youth service agencies or community centres).
